Representation theory and multilevel filters

چکیده
We present a general setting where wavelet filters and multiresolution decompositions can be defined, beyond the classical $${\mathbf {L}}^2({\mathbb {R}},dx)$$ setting. This is done in framework of iterated function system (IFS) measures; these include all cases studied so far, particular Julia set/measure cases. Every IFS has fixed order, say N, we show that are indexed by infinite dimensional group G functions from X into unitary $$U_N$$ . call loop because special case unit circle.

MultiView: Multilevel video content representation and retrieval
In this article, several practical algorithms are proposed to support content-based video analysis, modeling, representation, summarization, indexing, and access. First, a multilevel video database model is given. One advantage of this model is that it provides a reasonable approach to bridging the gap between low-level representative features and high-level semantic concepts from a human point...
متن کاملEV: Multilevel Music Knowledge Representation and Programming
This paper introduces EV Meta-Model, a new system for representing musical knowledge for computer-aided composition. It starts with a brief historical discussion on the fields of composition and sound synthesis. Then, the practice of musical composition is presented as a communication process from composers to listeners, where musical messages go through different representations: from the comp...
متن کاملSemi-G-filters, Stonean filters, MTL-filters, divisible filters, BL-filters and regular filters in residuated lattices
At present, the filter theory of $BL$textit{-}algebras has been widelystudied, and some important results have been published (see for examplecite{4}, cite{5}, cite{xi}, cite{6}, cite{7}). In other works such ascite{BP}, cite{vii}, cite{xiii}, cite{xvi} a study of a filter theory inthe more general setting of residuated lattices is done, generalizing thatfor $BL$textit{-}algebras. Note that fil...
متن کاملMedian Filters Theory and Applications
The aim of this paper is to present of standard median and recursive median one-dimensional nonlinear filters. Median filtering is a popular method of noise removal, employed extensively in applications involving speech, signal and image processing. This non-linear technique has proven to be a good alternative to linear filtering as it can effectively suppress impulse noise while preserving edg...
